Transguard’s Airside Services division focuses on meeting the growing needs of the aviation sector in the UAE, by providing a diverse portfolio of services, from cargo handling to IT network support. The division prides itself on its strong working relationships with its clients and its flexible approach to service delivery. Its quality of service is underpinned by a commitment to the ongoing training and personal development of its staff.
Our Services
The division provides a full range of airport services and has three distinct operational units:
Airport Services
This unit is focused on providing support to the ground handling operations at the airport, including check-in support, baggage handling, loading and offloading of aircraft. This is a 24/7 operation and flexibility is key to ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Cargo Services
Transguard recognises cargo operations as being one of the key revenue streams for an airline and has a dedicated team to support this operation. The division provides support staff for the breakdown and build-up of cargo, acceptance of cargo, as well as transportation in the warehouse and on the ramp. The division also has experience in handling perishable and secure cargo, and operates against required Service Level Agreements.
Other Airport Services
The division also supports a range of other airport and airline services, including engineering, IT and catering, by providing aircraft cleaners, storekeepers, junior and senior IT technicians and food and beverage staff.
Our Staff
Transguard’s Airside Services’ international management team has extensive experience in the aviation and hospitality industries and prides itself on its workforce of fully trained professional personnel across a broad spectrum of skill sets.
All staff receive continuous training and briefings to encourage them to become knowledgeable in the aviation sector. Recruitment, training and supervision are key elements in ensuring that staff bond as a team which in turn ensures that Transguard delivers an efficient service to its clients. The diverse portfolio of services delivered by the division allows staff to develop multiple skills and gain experience across a range of operations.

Currently Transguard’s Airside Services’ main client is the Emirates Group, providing support to:

The work the division undertakes as an outsource service provider to the Emirates Group is still one of the most important parts of Transguard’s business. Other customers include freight forwarders such as Panalpina, and cargo facilities such as Dubai Flower Centre.
