Transguard’s Facilities Management division (TGFM) delivers carefully tailored and bespoke Facilities Management solutions built upon a solid foundation of global best practice.

The division’s operational service delivery is designed along the FM continuum or Whole Life Cycle of a building or facility. Its FM consultancy team ensures that from conceptual design through to construction phase, the principles of cost efficient, sustainable buildings are delivered to the client. The TGFM operational team then ensures that the assets, infrastructure and appearance of the building are maintained to the highest standards and in compliance with the client’s and constructor’s guidelines, municipality instructions and globally recognised standards.

Facilities Management Strategic Reviews

The division has proven expertise in providing a range of strategic review services that identify the best practice approach to developing and implementing strategies that improve business processes aligned with corporate goals and service delivery objectives. By reviewing and developing measurement strategies it also ensures the continual improvement of outsource service providers.

Policy and Procedure

The division has an excellent track record in establishing and defining resources and rules of management for a building’s assets and service requirements, including Health and Safety, Security, Fire Management and Business Continuity.

Contract Review and Establishment

The division has expertise in reviewing operational practices, advising on contract type and fee structuring, through to providing full tender documentation and appraisal services, SLA information and performance measurement controls.

CAFM Systems Design and Implementation

The division has the capability to design and implement facilities management systems aligned to individual client needs, from asset management through to planned and reactive maintenance scheduling.

Help Desk

The division’s Communications Centre offers comprehensive help desk services to support all FM operations. The functionality includes rostering, scheduling, maintenance call-out and asset registration.

Service Delivery

The delivery aspects of the business can be provided as either bundled or single service solutions, depending on client need. TGFM has an established resource framework of management, supervisors, systems and logistics networks that support operational outsourcing solutions. This ranges from the simple provision of operational staff through to service delivery against output-based specifications.

External Contracts

Recruiting to client needs, TGFM is able to provide skilled and semi-skilled personnel to a range of developers and contractors throughout the region.
